Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal FTUĦ TAL-KONT. It-tnejn għandhom żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir sinjal għal FETAĦ. L-idejn jiffurmaw 5 u jimteddu bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa bis-swaba’ kemm kemm imrikkba. L-idejn jinfetħu ’l barra mill-polz. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ T bis-swaba’ l-kbar jogħrku lil xulxin waqt li id titla’ dritt ’il fuq u l-oħra tinżel ’l isfel xi tlett darbiet. It-tieni sinjal l-istess bħall-ewwel wieħed imma bit-tieni parti ssir qabel l-ewwel parti.
There are two similar signs for OPENING AN ACCOUNT. Both have two parts. (i) First the sign for OPEN is made. Both hands take the shape of 5 and lie with palm facing inwards and fingers overlapping slightly. The hands open apart outwards at the wrist. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of T with the thumb and index finger rubbing against each other whilst one hand moves straight up and the other straight down about three times. The second sign is the same as the first but with the second part preceding the first.
